National Art Honor Society

WHO WE ARE
The Churchill National Art Honor Society is a chapter of the National Art Honor Society branch of the National Art Education Association, a professional organization with the goal of advancing visual arts education. NAHS provides the unique opportunity for us to attain our highest potential in all forms of visual art by enriching our lives with the aspects of art in the form of volunteer events, school involvement, and membership meetings. We also strive to raise awareness of art education throughout our school and community.
Members have the ability to participate in school-wide fundraisers, field trips, art-related volunteer opportunities, community outreach, and more. The only application requirement is a 2.3 GPA or higher and a genuine interest in art. No artistic talent required!
If you are interested in joining the Churchill NAHS or have any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Pilaftsidis-Tracy at mpilafts@livoniapublicschools.org. We hope to hear from you soon!
APPLICATION
The NAHS application for the school year is available upon request in room E503 or E506.
MEMBERSHIP
To apply for membership, simply complete an application and submit it to Mrs. Pilaftsidis-Tracy in Room E503 or E506 along with your membership dues. Returning members do not need to complete paperwork again.
Official membership is granted once applications are reviewed and an acceptance email, along with an invitation to our Google Classroom, is sent.
To maintain active membership, students must attend meetings regularly and complete the required number of service hours by the end of the school year. Members who do not meet these expectations may risk having their membership revoked.
